Arithmetical Rhythm of Entering Light

"Running light gives a sudden shape to silhouettes born out of the dynamic space. This function of color as a carrier of light is present in his series of works entitled “Arithmetical Rhythm of Entering Light”. Here it is modified by a mathematically precise reckoning of space and intense interaction between geometrical figures and planes. The delicate matching of mutually complementing colors, the clarity in the transition of light create a harmony through offering a philosophical insight into the birth of fascinating light out of the dark. This transition, this never-ending rhythm underlies Stoyan Kutsev’s concept of art — a purely intellectual approach toward painting."
